MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441076694 A) filed by Godi India Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, Telangana, on Oct. 9, 2024, for 'an electrolyte filling machine and a method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Sekaran, Gnana; Venkateswarlu, Manohar Chinnareddy; Arumugam, Murugeshwaran; Bellie, Hariprakash; and Godi, Mahesh.

The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an electrolyte filling machine 100 comprising an electrolyte supply outlet, a can holder 160, at least one top enclosure 125 forming a vacuum chamber in the top portion, a nozzle assembly mounted on the at least one top enclosure 125, and the nozzle assembly incorporating a plurality of nozzles, at least one connector to connect the nozzle assembly to the electrolyte supply outlet, at least one connector to connect a vacuum pump 1120 to the top enclosure 125. The nozzle assembly is secured using at least one lock nut 110 that secures it to the top enclosure 125 and at least one linear guide system 805 including a linear guide male 140 and a linear guide female 130 to enable locomotion. At least one actuator incorporates a motor to enable movement of the top enclosure assembly and at least one gasket incorporated in a groove in the can holder 160 to ensure an airtight vacuum chamber where the can holder 160 incorporates a plurality of scoops for filling the electrolytes into a plurality of cells."
