MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521103800 A) filed by Broadminded Technologies, Durg, Chattisgarh, on Oct. 28, for 'an electricity regenerating system from waste heat from an air conditioner and method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Atul Chakrawarti; Nishant Tripathi; Amit Kumar Meshram; Dr. Rityuj Singh Parihar; Akash Jain; Sujeet Kumar; Dr. Shailesh Kumar Verma; Dr Om Prakash Sahu; Dr. Dhirendra Singh Kshatriya; and Pankaj Kumar Yadav.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electricity regenerating system (100) from waste heat from an Air Conditioner (AC) and method thereof is disclosed. The system (100) includes a heat absorption unit, Peltier modules, a heat dissipation unit, and a power management unit. The heat absorption unit is configured to capture a heat generated during operation of the air conditioner. The Peltier modules are connected to the heat absorption unit. The Peltier modules utilize a Peltier effect to generate electricity when subjected to a temperature gradient. The heat dissipation unit to ensures effective cooling on a cold side of the Peltier modules to maintain the temperature gradient. The power management unit that regulates and stores the generated electricity for immediate use or integration into household power systems."
