MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025266 A) filed by Aurav Rajput, Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, on March 28, 2024, for 'an automatic waste removal device from the drainage water.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automatic waste removal device from drainage water comprises a waste collector tyne (1) adapted to be secured with a chain rotating means (2), is provided to collect waste from drainage water. The chain rotating means (2) secured with a frame stand (3), is provided on either sides of the frame such that to rotate the tyne (1). A support plate (4) secured with chain rotating means (2), is provided to hold a motor (5) secured therewith such that to rotate the chain of the chain rotating means (2). Plurality of guide rails (6) is provided between the chain rotating means (2) such that to prevent misalignment of the waste collector tyne (1). A collection box (7) is provided at the back side of frame stand (3) such that to collect the garbage."
