MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441031844 A) filed by Ather Energy Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on April 22, 2024, for 'an assembly for a manual soldering tool.'

The first block (104) is affixed on the base plate (102) and the second block (106) is mounted and affixed on the first block (104). The second block (106) is configured with a predefined cavity (106C) and the second block (106) includes one or more predefined through-holes configured at a predefined distance between each of the one or more predefined through-holes for accommodating one or more pins (112). This assembly (100) provides advantages compared to existing methods, such as expensive equipment and pin headers. Manual soldering provides flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and precise control, particularly beneficial for low-volume manufacturing. This assembly (100) overcomes drawbacks associated with equipment costs and design constraints, enabling faster development and more efficient production processes."
