MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511131739 A) filed by Dronacharya Group Of Institutions, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 25, 2025, for 'an artificial intelligence-based system and method for real-time adaptive interviewing with automated response analysis and cheating detection.'

Inventor(s) include Dronacharya Group Institutions; Arpana Mishra; Yogesh Kumar; Arjun S. Nair; and Priyanshu Chaturvedi.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The proposed AI based Interview Assistant is a next generation Artificial intelligence-based assessment system that transforms the entire process to a digital interview system, incorporating real time response evaluation, generating intelligent questions with integrity monitoring. This design combines three vital components of automating interviews as follows: (1) Based on Contextual understanding with its AI- driven capabilities, it dynamically generates interview questions (2) With API- based audio Transcriptions it automatically evaluates the performance (3) It is followed by advanced anti-cheating monitoring combining video monitoring with behavioural analysis. The proposed system formulates the process of automated interviews with Gemini based question analytics, it ensures the continuous evaluation of questions based on multiple factors like responses, clarity of communication, classifications of skills and topic depth. An equipped machine learning feedback engine analyses techno- behavioural answers by generating real time weighted scoring incorporating vital performance stats. The second proposed module evaluates high accuracy transcriptions of audio cum spoken responses combined up with neural audio processing and it converts back it to structured text for further analysis. The system subsequently implements method for sentiment recognition followed by keyword-based correction mapping with clarity metrics for speech and topic relevancy scorings that ensure objective evaluating without any manual intervention The third subsystem ensures interview integrity through front-camera based proctoring. It detects identity mismatch, external object usage, suspicious gaze movement, multiple-person presence, and non-verbal assistance patterns. Video recording and monitoring events are logged and can be reviewed by interview administrators for compliance. The third module subsystem guarantees integrity of the digital interview process with front camera based proctorial monitoring. It aims to detect mismatches in identity, usages of external object usages followed by suspicious gazing movements, presence of multiple persons and varied non -verbal assistance patterns. The complete set up was fabricated with a well secured MERN supporting architecture module with AI services. The designed system will support a list of tasks ranging from candidate resume uploads, generating automated evaluation reports followed by performance dashboards and uninterrupted Interviewer oversights. This will significantly improve the recruitment process efficiency, eliminate interviewer biasing, and reduce operational costs by enhancing remote hiring accessibilities for large scale hiring."
