MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521110518 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on Nov. 12, 2025, for 'an artificial intelligence-assisted distributed sql system for real-time 5g and iot analytics.'

Inventor(s) include Kushagra Satdeve; Aagnik Chakraborty; and Dr. Saikat Gochhait.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an artificial intelligence-assisted distributed SQL query processing system (100) for telecom and IoT data management. The system comprises a user interface module (101) to receive SQL queries, an AI-powered central orchestrator (102) that analyzes, splits, and routes queries based on complexity, latency, and data locality, and an edge SQL and AI module (103) positioned near base stations for localized query execution and anomaly detection. A central SQL cluster (104) performs large-scale analytics, while a cloud storage module (105) manages historical data. A plurality of IoT devices and 5G towers (106) generate real-time telemetry data for continuous input. The central orchestrator (102) dynamically distributes workloads across all layers to optimize performance, minimize latency, and enable intelligent, scalable, and real-time processing of high-volume telecom and IoT network data."
