MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421076765 A) filed by Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited, Maharashtra, on Oct. 9, 2024, for 'an arrangement for mounting battery modules.'
Inventor(s) include Basha, Abubakker Sithick; Chalumuru, Madhu Kishore; and Kanagaraju, Sasikumar.
The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to battery frames, and envisages an arrangement (100) for mounting battery modules (10). The arrangement (100) comprises a battery frame (05) defined by a bottom plate (06) configured to receive the battery modules (10) thereon, and side walls (07) extending from the bottom plate (06). A plurality of longitudinal members (20) and at least one cross member (105) is configured on the bottom plate (06). The arrangement (100) further comprises at least one module support member (110) mounted on the cross member (105). The arrangement is configured to support the mass of the battery modules (10)."
