Sonawane; Rajanish K. Kamat; Shrinivas B Kulkarni; and Vishal W Banewar, Maharashtra, on June 19, for 'an apparatus for advancing thin film deposition and method thereof.'

The apparatus (100) includes a housing, a digital screen (112) for user interaction and set of operational parameters to perform controlled functioning, a plurality of beakers arranged for a successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) and a chemical bath deposition (CBD), a beaker holder (104) including plurality of slots (106) holds and place the beaker according to the deposition and cleaning sequence, the beakers are heated by a plurality of heaters (118) and the thin film solution is stirred by a plurality of magnetic stirrers (120), a slider arm (108) connected to a slider holder (110) holds a slide, an actuator (114) enables vertical movement of the slide adjacent to the position of the beakers, a microcontroller controls the functioning of the heaters (118) and the magnetic stirrers (120) based on the parameters set by the user and a switched-mode power supply sources power to the apparatus (100)."
