MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421013583 A) filed by Panasonic Life Solutions India Private Limited, Thane, Maharashtra, on Feb. 25, 2024, for 'an antitheft streetlight.'
Inventor(s) include Shravan R. Yadav; and Nirvikar Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is related to an antitheft street light assembly (100). The antitheft street light assembly (100) comprises a bolt (104), a key (200) 5 and street light (102). The bolt (104) comprises a threaded shank (112) and the head (110). The head (110) comprises a concentric hexagonal hole (114) with predefined depth at the top end. The hexagonal hole (114) comprises a concentric circular projection (108) with height equivalent to depth of the hole (114). The key (200) comprises handle (202) and insert end (204). The 10 insert end (204) is hexagonal in shape. The insert end (204) comprises concentric circular hole (208) with predefined depth at the end. The bolt (104) is inserted in the threaded hole (106) to lock the street light at position. The hexagonal insert end (204) of the key (200) is inserted in the hexagonal hole (114) of the bolt (104)."
