Inventor(s) include Mr. P R Jain Vinith; Dr. V. Vinoth; Dr. H. Mohamed Suhail; Mr. S. Balakrishnan; Mr. R. Sudalaimani; and Mr. S. Regupathi.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An Analysis of Advanced 3D Printing Framework for Customized Manufacturing This article proposes a cutting-edge framework for personalized manufacturing that employs 3D printing techniques, which incorporates artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and sophisticated material science in order to improve accuracy, scalability, and efficiency. The framework that has been suggested includes a Smart Additive Manufacturing Engine (SAME) that integrates artificial intelligence (AI)-based design optimization, real-time monitoring with Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, and automated post-processing modules. The framework provides support to industries such as healthcare, aerospace, automotive, and consumer products by making it possible to produce complicated geometries and functional components in a highly customizable manner. In addition to these advantages, the innovation addresses the limits of traditional manufacturing, such as the considerable amount of material that is wasted, the lengthy lead times, and the lack of flexibility in the design. The solution guarantees accuracy, minimizes expenses, and increases sustainability through the use of adaptive learning algorithms and digital twin integration."
