MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411071329 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Sept. 20, 2024, for 'an air cleaner device of a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An air cleaner device (100) of a vehicle (200) is disclosed. The device (100) includes a housing (1) with first cover (2) and second cover (3), provided therein. The first cover (2) is connectable to second cover (3). The first cover is proved with an inlet hose (4) to fluidically communicate the enclosure with the atmosphere. Further, an air filter element (9) is disposed within the housing. The filter element (9) defining a dirty side between the first cover and the filter element, and the filter element defining a clean side between the second cover and the filter element. Further, the extension members (6, 7, 8) are defined on an inner side of the first cover. The extension members are configured to define a divergent flow path in a flow direction to direct and disperse the air incoming from the inlet hose over the first cover and the filter element."
