MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441021558 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 21, 2024, for 'an air cleaner device for a vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Vijaya Bhaskar Adiga; Muthuraja Annamalai; Boobalan Mani; and Vethanayagam Jayajothi Johnson.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an air cleaner device (200) for a vehicle (10). The air cleaner device (200) comprises an air housing (202) defined by a case member 5 (204) and a cover member (206), the cover member (206) comprising at least one inlet opening (208) to receive air from outside; a holding member (210) configured in the air housing (202), the holding member (210) being adapted to hold at least one filter element (214). Further, an air guide member (212) configured with the holding member (210) and extended over at least a portion of the filter element 10 (214). The air guide member (212) comprises a first side facing the cover member (206) and a second side facing the holding member (210). The air guide member (212) defines a plurality of air flow path (216a, 216b) including to regulate air flow within the air housing (202)."
