MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511114102 A) filed by Integral University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 20, 2025, for 'an ai-driven multi-temporal optical-sar fusion system for intelligent land cover dynamics monitoring.'
Inventor(s) include Vikash Singh; and Zishan Raza Khan.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is an AI-driven multi-temporal optical-SAR fusion system for intelligent land cover dynamics monitoring (100) comprises a dynamic optical-SAR fusion engine (102) configured to receive multi-temporal optical and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite imagery. The system also includes a temporal evolutionary change detector unit (104) configured to model historical and current fused imagery. An edge-based satellite processing node (106) configured for near-real-time pre-processing of optical and SAR imagery. The system also includes an AI-based adaptive cloud compensation module (108) configured to reconstruct cloud-obscured optical imagery. A SAR polarimetric signature analyzer unit (110) configured to extract advanced SAR polarimetric parameters. The system also includes a geo-intelligent forecasting module (112) configured to visualize multi-temporal fused imagery, predicted land cover trajectories, anomaly alerts, and integrated GIS layers. An explainable change attribution module (114) configured to attribute detected or predicted land cover changes to causal environmental factors."
