MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541125391 A) filed by Anurag University, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Dec. 11, 2025, for 'an ai-driven customer retention system using predictive modeling and automated recommendation engine.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. V. Vijaya Kumar; Dr. G. Vishnu Murthy; Dr. V. Amarnadh; Mr. M. Sagar; Mr. Rajasekhar Gorthi; Mr. T. Kanakaiah; Mrs. V. Jyothi; and Dr. G. Balram.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an AI-driven customer retention system (100) using predictive modeling and an automated recommendation engine for real-time churn management. The system comprises a data acquisition module (101) for collecting customer data, a data preprocessing module (102) for cleaning and normalization, a principal component analysis module (103) for dimensionality reduction, and a K-Means clustering module (104) for customer segmentation. A segment-specific hybrid BiLSTM-CNN churn prediction module (105) predicts churn probability, which is evaluated by a classification module (106) and an at-risk customer identification module (107). A rule-based recommendation engine (108) generates personalized retention strategies, and a digital coupon generation module (109) issues incentives. The entire system is deployed through a Streamlit-based web application interface (110) for real-time visualization and business decision-making."
