MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541024429 A) filed by C. Prabhakar, Bangalore, Karnataka, on March 19, 2025, for 'an ai-driven cognitive uav for autonomous track surveillance.'

The process of anomaly detection comprises the steps of power supply and distribution, take-off and flight, initialization and configuration of sensor module and imaging system, image and sensor data capturing and transmission, obstacle detection and avoidance, anomaly distance estimation, anomaly identification and classification including feature extraction, anomaly detection and classification, refinement and prediction, metadata annotation, decision execution, automated reporting and alert generation, and data storing."
