MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621007077 A) filed by Wadia Body Builders, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Jan. 23, for 'an aerial fire suppression system for high-rise buildings.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. Naushad S. Wadia.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an aerial fire system for high-rise buildings comprising an unmanned aerial vehicle (1) operably connected to a motor vehicle (6) via a dual-tethered arrangement, including a water hose pipe (8) and an electrically tethered cable (10), enabling continuous supply of extinguishing media and power. The aerial vehicle (1) is equipped with a framework (2), a propulsion unit (3) for stable maneuvers, a power and control assembly for synchronized execution of fire-flight operations, and an imaging unit (5) for real-time fire detection. The system delivers a water-mist-based media at a working pressure of approximately 100 Bar with a flow rate of 400 LPM, achieving an effective throw distance of at least 30 meters and a vertical height of 75 meters. The system ensures unlimited flight endurance and safe standoff distances during complex operations."
