MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411029772 A) filed by Havells India Limited, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 12, 2024, for 'an actuator assembly for a molded case circuit breaker (mccbB).'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Described herein is actuator assembly [112] for molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) [100]. MCCB [100] comprising connecting shaft for rigidly and adjacently connecting plurality of pole assemblies [102] and actuator assembly [112] therebetween. Actuator assembly [112] comprising pair of side frame members [124a, 124b], linkage mechanism, comprising fork lever [124] pivotally installed onto the pair of side frame members [124a, 124b], wherein fork lever [134] allows manipulation of the MCCB [100] amongst ON position, OFF position, TRIP position, and RESET position, and biasing spring member [138] having substantially V-shaped structure. Biasing spring member [138] comprising first hook portion [138a] second hook portion [138b] and intermediate hook portion [138c], wherein first hook portion [138a] is connected to at least portion of fork lever [134], while second hook portion [138b] is connected to the connecting shaft of MCCB [100], and intermediate hook portion [138c] is floating relative to the actuator assembly [112]."
