MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025304 A) filed by Uno Minda Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana, on March 28, 2024, for 'an active clamp forward dc- dc converter.'

Inventor(s) include Sarika Umesh Gujarathi; Girish Balwant Kamble; Homesh Bhanushanker Dave; and Sujit Sopan Barhate.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure generally relates to Service Enabler Architecture Layer (SEAL) and spatial mapping management. Particularly, but not exclusively, the present disclosure describes DC-DC converter (105a) comprising a transformer (109) configured to connect with a supply unit to receive supply voltage. The primary side of transformer (109) comprises at least two primary windings. The at least two primary windings includes a first primary winding configured to generate electromagnetic induction based on the received DC supply voltage and a second primary winding. A secondary side of transformer comprises at least two secondary windings electromagnetically coupled to the at least two primary windings. Each of the at least two secondary windings is configured to generate a distinct regulated DC output voltage based on the generated electromagnetic induction at the at least two primary winding. An output voltage of the second primary winding and each secondary winding are coupled to a corresponding auxiliary circuit to supply a regulated DC output voltage."
