MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517089672 A) filed by Evonik Operations Gmbh, Essen, Germany, on Sept. 19, for 'aluminum oxide powder and synthesis thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Erz, Joachim; Katerinak, Witold; Schmidt, Franz; and Schulze Isfort, Christian.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Aluminum oxide powder and method of making, the powder consisting of aggregates of primary particles, characterized in that it has an aggregate particle size distribution with a median aggregate particle size (D50) of 220 nm to 500 nm, preferably of 230 to 400 nm, and more preferably of 250 nm to 300 nm as determined by dynamic light scattering measurement, and it has a BET of 10 m2/g to 100 m2/g."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/053421.
