MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090656 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 23, for 'aluminium trihydroxide particles, manufacturing method thereof, and separator, electrode assembly and lithium secondary battery including same.'
Inventor(s) include Jeong, So-Mi; Kim, Seong-Jun; Kim, Yeong-Ha; Bang, Ji-Hyun; and Yoon, Yeo-Ju.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are: aluminum trihydroxide particles having a D50 of around 3.0 m or less, a BET of around 3.0 m2/g or more, and a Li content of around 500 ppm or more; and a separator, an electrode assembly, and a lithium secondary battery including same."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 05, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/000289.
