MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421075415 A) filed by Hindalco Industries Limited, Maharashtra, on Oct. 5, 2024, for 'aluminium alloy composition, aluminium alloy extrusions and method of manufacturing thereof for reducing peripheral grain growth.'
Inventor(s) include Ashim Kumar Mukhopadhyay; Sumit Gahlyan; Dilip Kumar R; Vijjapu Mourya; and Binu Joseph Alexander.

Further, the present invention relates to extrusion based on the aluminium alloy composition and method manufacturing extrusions that effectively minimizes peripheral grain growth (PGG)."
