MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541125403 A) filed by Sr University, Warangal, Telangana, on Dec. 11, 2025, for 'aloe vera plant preparation device.'
Inventor(s) include Konusothu Subhasri; Narkhede Gopal Wasudeo; G Prasanna; and M. Arun Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An aloe Vera plant preparation device comprises of a housing 101, a motorized sliding tray 102 to slide outward and retract inward to collect and position pods of varying sizes, a plurality of adjustable circular cavities 103 comprising overlapping curved plates mounted via motorized linear actuators for gripping the pod securely, an imaging unit 104 for detecting dimension of the pod, a seed dispenser assembly, a sensor array probe 108, a compost dispensing assembly, a wedge-shaped plate 112, and an automated injector are installed via a dual-axis lead screw arrangement 105 to perform soil preparation, seed dispensing, compost delivery, and microbiome enhancement, a plurality of adjustable panels 116 forming the ceiling of the housing 101 to regulate sunlight exposure and environmental conditions within the housing 101, a water sprinkler assembly to provide automated irrigation to the pods, a pest deterrent module to detect and deter pests selectively."
