MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641015563 A) filed by Tadimety Aromatics Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Feb. 12, for 'allylic mixed acetal compounds, process for their preparation, and perfume composition thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to novel allylic mixed acetal compounds of Formula (I) and method of preparation thereof. The method includes a) contacting a allylic alcohol compound of Formula (II) with a substituted vinyl ether of Formula (III) in the presence of an acid catalyst and a solvent to form a mixture; and b) heating the mixture to obtain an allylic mixed acetal compounds of Formula (I). The present disclosure also provides a perfume composition comprises: 1 to 10 wt% of an allylic mixed acetal compounds of Formula (I); and 90 to 99 wt % of one or more fragrance ingredient, which exhibits highly diffusive Floral fragrance with Muguet (lily of the valley) as dominant note with bright cyclamen-aldehydic, citrus notes & cardamom like top notes."
