MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517032729 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 2, for 'all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Yoon; Han, Dakyung; Jung, Yi Jin; Lee, Dong Chan; Choi, Ran; Kim, Sulcham; and Yom, Jeeho.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is an all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery, which comprises two or more types of carbon materials of different particle sizes in a lithium-free anode of an all-solid-state battery, and thus can increase contact area with a solid electrolyte. The all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery comprises a cathode, a solid electrolyte layer, an anode current collector, and an anode active material layer arranged between the solid electrolyte layer and the anode current collector, wherein the anode active material layer includes a first carbon material, a second carbon material and Ag, and the first carbon material and the second carbon material have different average particle sizes."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 03, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/017507.
