MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547068204 A) filed by Mann+Hummel Ventures Pte. Ltd., Singapore, on July 17, for 'air treatment system, method, vehicle and fleet for treating environment air.'

Inventor(s) include Thebault, Eric; Junginger, Bernd; and Dos Santos Ascensao, Macario Francisco.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Method of treating environmental air including: - determining that there is an air treatment demand at a demand vehicle by determining that there is a local treatment requirement of the demand vehicle which is unsatisfied; - sending, a request for air treatment to a supply vehicle; - receiving an acknowledgement; wherein determining further includes determining that a traffic density is above a pre-determined density. Emission regulation system including: - a holder for receiving a replaceable air filter; - an airflow control device; - a control circuit: - a communication interface configured to wirelessly send and receive commands external to the vehicle and operably coupled to the control circuit; the control circuit configured to: receive a request for air treatment. Fleet of vehicles operably communicable with each other, wherein a first vehicle is configured to requesting a second vehicle to provide air treatment, and the second vehicle is configured to control an air treatment system of the second vehicle to increase treatment capacity."
