MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611027751 A) filed by Sam Products Private Limited, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on March 9, for 'air shower tunnel system and method for removing contaminants from users.'
Inventor(s) include Sanjay Batra.
The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is an air shower tunnel system for removing contaminants from a user passing through a tunnel enclosure. The system includes a tunnel enclosure defining an elongated passage between an entry end and an exit end, pressurized air nozzle assemblies positioned along at least one side wall and a ceiling portion of the enclosure for directing air streams toward the user, air extraction ports positioned along an opposite wall facing the nozzle assemblies, and an exhaust duct positioned behind the extraction ports and connected to an exhaust fan that generates negative pressure. Pressurized air streams dislodge contaminants from surfaces of the user while the negative pressure draws contaminated air across the passage toward the extraction ports and into the exhaust duct for removal from the enclosure. The arrangement promotes controlled airflow across the user and assists in removing contaminants before the user enters controlled environments."
