MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641001538 A) filed by Ramco Institute Of Technology, Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu, on Jan. 7, for 'air quality monitoring system using iot with flutter.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. V. Anusuya; M. Rethina Kumari; and A. Sathya.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This system provides a reliable solution for monitoring environmental pollution levels in real time. Designed to enhance public health awareness, it continuously measures harmful gases such as CO2, NH3, and benzene using the MQ135 sensor [1]. The data is processed by the ESP32 microcontroller [2], which converts raw readings into meaningful Air Quality Index (AQI) values. Through its inbuilt Wi-Fi module [3], the ESP32 transmits this information to a cloud database [4], where it is stored for further analysis and prediction. A mobile application [5] is integrated with the system to display real-time AQI values, historical trends, and alert notifications in a user-friendly format. This approach enables individuals to monitor air quality anytime and anywhere, thereby promoting environmental awareness, preventive health measures, and smart decision-making in daily activities."
