MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621013341 A) filed by Gokul Global University, Patan, Gujarat, on Feb. 6, for 'air purification and bio-luminescent lighting device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Manoj A. Vora.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An air purification and bio-luminescent lighting device, comprises of a pavilion structure 101 provided with a seating area 102, and a roof canopy 103, having multiple nanotubes 104 integrated with the pavilion structure to contain an aqueous medium comprising marine water seeded with bioluminescent bacteria and Chlorella microalgae for air purification, a central tank 105 fluidly coupled with the nanotubes 104, the tank comprising an air pump 106 and a circulation pump 107 configured to store, mix, and drive the aqueous medium through the nanotubes 104, a gas exchange interface 108 integrated at the upper ends of the nanotubes 104 and within the tank to allow the passage of gases while preventing marine water leakage from the nanotubes 104, and a filtration unit and nutrient injection unit coupled to the central tank 105 to filter the tank and periodically supply nutrients to nanotubes 104 to sustain algae and bacteria growth."
