MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421067619 A) filed by Bajaj Electricals Limited, Maharashtra, on Sept. 6, 2024, for 'air-cooling apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Nikumbh, Vishwaraj; Sathawane, Vaibhav; Bhatt, Marshin; Rasam, Tejas; and Gautam, Sameer.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides an air-cooling apparatus (100) comprising: a receiving tray (102) disposed on a top side of the air-cooling apparatus (100) and exposed to the exterior of the air-cooling apparatus (100), wherein the receiving tray (102) comprises a plurality of first slots (104) to allow flow of a liquid therethrough; a first chamber (106) disposed under the receiving tray (102), and on the top of a water tank (108), and wherein the first chamber (106) comprises a plurality of second slots (110) fluidically coupling the first chamber (106) with the water tank (104); and at least a cooling pad (112) disposed in the water tank (108), wherein water from the receiving tray (102) percolates through the plurality of first slots (104) and plurality of second slots (110) on to at least the cooling pad (112) in the water tank (104)."
