MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102351 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 24, 2025, for 'air-conditioning system.'
Inventor(s) include Balpreet Singh; Manish Kumar; Dr. Chandra Mohan; and Dr. Suresh Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An air-conditioning system, comprises a compressor 101 configured to compress low-pressure refrigerant vapor to high-pressure vapor, a microchannel condenser 102 fluidly connected to the compressor 101 and configured to reject heat from the high-pressure vapor to ambient air converting into high-pressure liquid, a thermal expansion valve 103 fluidly connected to the microchannel condenser 102 and configured to reduce pressure of the high-pressure liquid producing a low-pressure refrigerant mixture, and an evaporator 104 fluidly connected to the thermal expansion valve 103 and configured to absorb heat from air by evaporating the low-pressure refrigerant mixture into low-pressure vapor, the high-performance microchannel condenser 102 provides enhanced heat transfer, increases coefficient of performance by at least 30%, reduces weight by approximately 38%, lowers refrigerant charge, the thermal expansion valve 103 dynamically regulates refrigerant flow based on evaporator 104 temperature and cooling demand."
