MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025426 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'air conditioner filter cleaning device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An air conditioner filter cleaning device, comprising a housing 1 positioned on a ground surface and installed with a platform 2 to be placed with an air conditioner filter, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 detects dimensions of filter, two motorized clamps 5 are translated by a pair of motorized sliders 6 for gripping periphery of filter in a secured manner, an air blower 7 removing dust from filter, an electronic nozzle 8 attached with a chamber 9 dispenses cleaning solution for loosening dirt accumulated on filter, a motorized brush 10 suspended from a ceiling portion by a telescopically operated rod 11 to remove dirt, a motorized two-axis lead screw arrangement 12 translates brush 10, an electronic valve 13 attached with a water container 14 to rinse filter, and thereafter blower 7 blows air to dry filter."
