MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005126 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Jan. 25, 2024, for 'air cleaner assembly of a vehicle.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides an air cleaner assembly (100) of a vehicle (10), comprising an enclosure (102) accommodating at least one filter element (104). The enclosure (102) comprises an air inlet duct (106) comprising an air inlet port (108) and an air outlet duct (110) comprising an air outlet port (112). The enclosure (102) is located below a seat unit (36) of the vehicle (10). The air inlet port (108) extends rearward in a vehicle length direction and is positioned above a rear fender (40) of the vehicle (10). The air cleaner assembly (100) comprises a resilient member (118) located behind the air inlet port (108) in a vehicle length direction. The resilient member (118) extends in a vehicle upward direction from an upper surface (120) of the rear fender (40)."
