MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541129888 A) filed by Saveetha Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 22, 2025, for 'aiims: ai-enhanced intelligent money monitoring system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The current invention describes Al-Enhanced Intelligent Money Monitoring System (AIMMS), which helps in automated analysis of transactions, prediction, and goal-based management of money by users. The system analyzes and processes the unstructured and structured financial information obtained from the description of the respective transactions, digital payment information, and the image of the receipts obtained from the respective transactions. The proposed system relies on various Al technologies, such as natural language processing for the classification of the respective transactions, time series forecast for the prediction of savings and goal achievement, and deep learning techniques for the long-term behavioral pattern analysis. The system also includes an optical character recognition module, which helps in the automated extraction of the respective information from the receipt image, thus minimizing the need for manual entry of the information. The system also includes a feedback module, which helps in the improvement of the prediction system through corrections by the users."
