According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an Al-powered adaptive video question-answering and formative assessment system designed to enhance personalized learning through real-time cognitive analysis and targeted feedback. The system transcribes educational videos using an automatic speech recognition module, converts transcripts into semantic vector embeddings, and retrieves context- restricted information for user queries through adaptive vector search. A Real-Time Cognitive Load Adaptive Answering module interprets user interaction signals, such as typing cadence and edit frequency, to dynamically adjust retrieval depth and response structure, optimizing efficiency and comprehension. The system further includes a Knowledge-Gap Challenge Generator that evaluates conversation history against a concept map to identify unaddressed topics and automatically generate calibrated challenge questions for reinforcing weak concepts. Implemented through a modular web-based architecture integrating adaptive retrieval, cognitive load estimation', and knowledge-gap analysis,. the invention delivers measurable technical improvements in response latency, personalization, and learning efficiency within Al-assisted educational environments."
