MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511132516 A) filed by Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 27, 2025, for 'ai-powered cloud security system for threat prediction and mitigation.'
Inventor(s) include Shilpa Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an AI-powered cloud security system for predictive threat detection and autonomous mitigation. The system continuously collects multi-source telemetry from cloud environments, normalizes and enriches the data, and constructs a dynamic Behavior and Risk Graph representing users, assets, and their interactions. An AI-based prediction engine analyzes sequential and graph-based data to forecast multi-stage attack progression, including lateral movement, privilege escalation, and data exfiltration. Predicted threats are mapped to automated mitigation strategies, which may include isolating workloads, rotating credentials, restricting access, or deploying deception mechanisms. Reinforcement learning continuously optimizes response effectiveness, while federated learning enables cross-tenant intelligence sharing without exposing raw data. A human-in-the-loop console provides visualization, monitoring, and override capabilities."
