MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611002194 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Jan. 8, for 'ai-iot cloud-integrated neurodegeneration management system.'

Inventor(s) include Ravi Kumar; and Priya Shashwat.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a cloud-integrated AI-IoT neurobiological system (100) designed for early detection, prediction, and adaptive treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. The system includes wearable neuro-sensors (102), muscular sensors (104), cardiac sensors (106), implantable biosensors (108), and environmental IoT devices (110) that continuously capture multi-modal neurological, biochemical, and behavioral data. A cloud-based AI engine (114) analyzes the signals using deep learning (116) and federated learning (118), generating predictive insights and updating a patient-specific digital twin (120). Based on these predictions, therapeutic devices such as neurostimulators (124), drug micro-dosing pumps (126), and cognitive modules (128) are automatically activated through a closed-loop feedback architecture. The invention provides a proactive, privacy-preserving, and adaptive neuro-intelligent system for managing neurodegenerative disorders."
