MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611048303 A) filed by New Delhi Institute Of Management, New Delhi, on April 16, for 'ai-integrated balanced scorecard dashboard for continuous quality improvement.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Teena Singh; Dr. Rashmi Chauhan Sengar; Dr. Ashish Yadav; Dr. Nabeela Hasan; and Dr. Meghavatu Krishna Prasanna Naik.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an AI-Integrated Balanced Scorecard Dashboard for Continuous Quality Improvement designed to capture, analyze, and optimize organizational performance using advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence techniques. The system comprises a Data Source Module (100) for collecting performance-related data from enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, human resource databases, financial systems, operational platforms, and customer feedback channels, and a Data Integration and Processing Module (120) for extracting, transforming, and standardizing heterogeneous data while detecting anomalies and ensuring data accuracy. An Artificial Intelligence Analytics and Prediction Engine (130) analyzes historical and real-time datasets using predictive models such as regression algorithms, neural networks, classification techniques, and time-series forecasting to identify performance trends and predict key performance indicators (KPIs). A Balanced Scorecard Framework Module (140) maps organizational objectives into measurable KPIs across financial, customer, internal process, and learning and growth perspectives, enabling dynamic alignment between strategic goals and operational performance. A Dashboard Visualization and Reporting Module (150) generates real-time performance dashboards, scorecards, trend analyses, and heat-maps to visually represent varying levels of efficiency, quality, and risk across departments and organizational units. The system further includes an Alert and Notification System (155) to automatically notify stakeholders when predefined KPI thresholds or performance deviations are exceeded, and a Feedback and Continuous Improvement Module (160) to capture outcomes and reintegrate them into the AI engine for continuous model refinement and adaptive performance optimization. The invention enhances strategic decision-making, improves transparency in performance evaluation, enables predictive quality management, and supports continuous organizational improvement through intelligent, data-driven insights."
