Inventor(s) include Prof. Ajeet Kumar Singh; Mr. Dikhyant Rath; Dr. Prabahan Puzari; Mr. Naveen Rai; Ms. Roop Kamal; Ms. Madhumita Anvekar; Mr. Deepak Thakur; and Mr. Mandeep Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an artificial intelligence-induced robotic industrial machine for automatic spotting, classification, and removal of stains from textile and fabric surfaces, particularly in hotel and hospitality environments. The machine integrates an optical sensing module, an artificial intelligence processing unit, a fabric identification module, and a robotic stain removal assembly to detect stained regions, measure stain area, classify stains using visible color spectrum analysis, determine stain intensity, and identify fabric type prior to treatment. Based on the classified stain category and fabric characteristics, the system selectively applies stain-specific treatment agents through controlled robotic delivery and subsequently extracts loosened stain residues in a localized manner. The invention enables fully automated, fabric-safe, and scalable stain removal without manual intervention, ensuring consistent cleaning performance across diverse stain types and textiles in industrial laundry operations."
