MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541126586 A) filed by Vardhaman College Of Engineering, Ranga Reddy, Telangana, on Dec. 14, 2025, for 'ai-enhanced dynamic stability analysis of power systems.'

Inventor(s) include Prof. G Venkata Rami; Ms. Budavarapu Pravallika; Dr. Chappidi Sreenivasa Rao; Dr. Keshampeta Ashwini; Mr. B Raja Gopal; and Mr. K Venkatesh.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "AI-Enhanced Dynamic Stability Analysis of Power Systems is the proposed invention. The proposed invention is presented to provide fast and accurate assessment of grid stability under varying operating conditions and disturbances. The proposed approach utilizes real-time measurements from phasor measurement units, intelligent sensors, and control systems, combined with advanced machine learning techniques, to capture complex nonlinear system dynamics. By learning stability patterns from historical and real-time data, the system predicts transient, small-signal, and voltage stability margins and generates early warning indicators of potential instability. The integration of the AI-based analysis with power system operation and control platforms enables proactive decision-making, improves situational awareness, and enhances the reliability and resilience of modern power grids with high penetration of renewable energy sources."
