MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113222 A) filed by Ims Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 18, 2025, for 'ai-enabled smart safety bracelet for real-time threat detection and emergency response.'

Inventor(s) include Mr. Ram Krishna Singh; Archita Singh; Shruti Mala; and Aryan Pandey.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an AI-enabled smart safety bracelet designed for real-time detection of distress, threat, or emergency situations through the integration of artificial intelligence, multimodal sensing, and IoT-based communication. The device continuously monitors physiological, behavioral, and environmental parameters using embedded sensors such as heart rate, accelerometer, temperature, and voice analyzers. The on-board AI algorithm processes this data to identify abnormal or high-risk conditions and autonomously triggers emergency responses including SOS alerts, GPS location sharing, and real-time audio/video streaming. The system further incorporates adaptive learning through cloud connectivity, enabling continuous improvement in detection accuracy and personalized safety profiling. The bracelet features low-power operation, durable construction, and secure communication protocols, providing a comprehensive, intelligent, and proactive wearable solution for enhancing personal safety and emergency management."
