MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541122901 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 5, 2025, for 'ai-enabled iiot security system for internet of vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Selvi M; J Nandan Reddy; and Puttamreddy Reshikesh Reddy.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an AI-enabled Industrial Internet of Things security system for Internet of Vehicles. The system includes a data preprocessing module (1) configured to receive network traffic data from Internet of Vehicles networks and to normalize the network traffic data to generate normalized network traffic data. A fuzzy logic-based feature selection module (2) applies fuzzy inference to the normalized network traffic data to calculate feature importance scores for each feature in the normalized network traffic data and selects a predetermined number of highest-scoring features to generate selected features. A neural network module (3) with temporal processing capability receives the selected features and classifies network traffic as normal or malicious using temporal pattern recognition to generate threat classifications. A real-time prediction interface receives input network traffic data and returns threat predictions using the trained neural network module."
