MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641064210 A) filed by Sr University, Warangal, Telangana, on May 21, for 'ai driven personalized consumer behavior prediction and adaptive marketing system for online retail environments.'

Inventor(s) include Chintham Surya Chandra; and Dr. Karra Aruna.

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The rapid expansion of e-commerce and online retail environments has transformed consumer purchasing behavior, digital marketing strategies, customer engagement mechanisms, and retail business operations across global digital marketplaces. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an essential technological component in online retail ecosystems for product recommendation, targeted advertising, customer segmentation, demand forecasting, and digital consumer analytics. However, despite significant advancements in AI-driven marketing technologies, existing online retail personalization systems continue to face major limitations related to consumer trust instability, inaccurate recommendation systems, behavioral inconsistency, algorithmic bias, emotional engagement failure, privacy concerns, dynamic preference changes, and low adaptive intelligence. Traditional online retail marketing systems primarily depend on static recommendation algorithms, historical purchasing records, demographic profiling, cookie-based tracking mechanisms, and generalized consumer segmentation models. These conventional systems often fail to continuously understand real-time emotional buying behavior, adaptive purchasing intentions, psychological engagement patterns, contextual shopping conditions, and rapidly changing consumer preferences in dynamic digital retail environments."
