MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541123299 A) filed by Sr University, Warangal, Telangana, on Dec. 7, 2025, for 'ai-driven incident response framework for cloud cybersecurity.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. Bhukya Saida; and Dr. Shobha Rani Vallem.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an AI-driven incident response framework for cloud cybersecurity that integrates network traffic classification, web intrusion detection, and malware analysis into a unified, cloud-native system. Telemetry from virtual networks, web/application gateways, and endpoint agents is collected and transformed into machine-readable features. Three specialized ML modules-flow-based intrusion detection, transformer-based HTTP attack detection, and hybrid static-dynamic malware classification-produce alerts that are correlated into higher-level incidents by a dedicated correlation engine. A risk scoring model prioritizes incidents, and predefined response playbooks automate containment actions such as blocking IP addresses, isolating compromised instances, and disabling credentials. Representative evaluations using standard datasets indicate high detection performance and reductions in mean time to detect and respond compared to rule-based baselines. The invention thereby improves the effectiveness, efficiency, and automation of incident response in cloud environments."
