According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence based cultural styling and fashion recommendation system designed to provide personalized traditional outfit and jewellery suggestions to users. The system addresses the growing need for an intelligent platform that understands Indian cultural diversity while offering customized fashion guidance. Unlike exist-ing fashion platforms that operate in isolation or provide static suggestions, the proposed in-vention integrates multiple AI-driven engines into a unified system capable of analysing user inputs such as skin tone, cultural tradition, and styling preferences to generate complete tradi-tional looks. The invention primarily focuses on Indian traditional fashion styles including, but not limited to, Maharashtrian, South Indian, and Punjabi cultural attire. It incorporates cultural knowledge bases and rule-based engines to ensure that outfit and jewellery recommendations remain culturally authentic and contextually appropriate. The system eliminates the manual effort required by users to search for matching outfits and jewellery by automatically selecting combinations that follow established cultural norms, traditional dressing rules, and regional styling practices. A key component of the invention is the AI-based skin tone detection and colour theory en-gine, which either processes user-uploaded images or accepts manual input to classify skin tone into predefined categories such as fair, medium, or dark. Based on this classification, the sys-tem applies colour harmony rules and contrast analysis to recommend suitable clothing colour palettes. This ensures that the suggested outfits not only respect cultural traditions but also en-hance the visual appearance of the user by complementing their natural complexion. The invention further introduces a Mix-Match Style Generator and Scoring Engine, which intelligently combines outfit and jewellery elements using a guided matching algorithm. Mul-tiple candidate looks are generated and evaluated using parameters such as colour compatibil-ity, cultural authenticity, visual balance, and proportional harmony. Invalid or culturally incor-rect combinations are automatically rejected through validation rules, while valid combinations are ranked using a composite scoring mechanism. This process results in a set of ranked styling recommendations that offer variety while maintaining correctness and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the system includes an explainability module, which provides users with clear reasoning behind each recommendation, thereby increasing transparency, trust, and usability. The invention offers a scalable and extensible architecture capable of incorporating additional Indian traditions, festivals, and styling parameters in the future. Overall, the proposed AI Com-bined Cultural Styling Suite presents a novel, technically integrated solution that merges artifi-cial intelligence, cultural computing, colour science, and fashion technology into a single intel-ligent platform, making it suitable for patent protection as a unique and innovative invention."
