MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611000576 A) filed by Ct University, Ludhiana, Punjab, on Jan. 3, for 'ai-based system and method for identification, mapping, and comparative analysis of educational syllabi.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is a system and method for gathering, digitizing, standardizing, and comparing educational curricula from several Indian teaching boards is based on artificial intelligence. The system uses optical character recognition, natural language processing, semantic mapping, and knowledge graph alignment to automatically process syllabus data from boards such as the CBSE, ICSE, IB, and State Boards. In order to find overlaps, disparities, sequence variations, and curricular gaps, it categorizes subjects, themes, and learning outcomes. In addition, the system creates comparative reports, prediction insights, and cognitive categories and difficulty ratings for each topic. The invention helps with curriculum alignment, academic planning, board transitions, and the creation of evidence-based educational policies for students, parents, educators, legislators, and educational platforms."
