MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621025786 A) filed by Vaishali Savale; Paras Umesh Sarode; Omar Khan; Kushal Kurkure; Smrutikant Parida; and Omkar Patil, Pune, Maharashtra, on March 5, for 'ai based observability platform.'

Inventor(s) include Vaishali Savale; Paras Umesh Sarode; Omar Khan; Kushal Kurkure; Smrutikant Parida; and Omkar Patil.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an AI-driven observability platform that enhances the monitoring, diagnosis, and optimization of distributed software systems in real time. The invention integrates telemetry collection tools-such as Prometheus for metrics, Alertmanager for alert handling, Loki for logs, and optionally Tempo for traces-with intelligent automation and large language models (LLMs) to provide proactive anomaly detection and resolution. The platform continuously collects, stores, and analyzes telemetry data, including system metrics, logs, traces, and runtime profiles, from target applications through modular agents and exposed endpoints. When predefined or learned thresholds are breached, the system automatically triggers an LLM-based reasoning engine that interprets the anomaly and generates a plain-language root cause analysis along with context-specific corrective actions. Furthermore, it processes profiling data to detect inefficient code segments or performance bottlenecks and returns optimized code-level suggestions. The platform includes a user interface that enables application registration, real-time alert display, and dashboard visualization through Grafana integration. The architecture is designed to be scalable, cloud-native, and containerized using Docker, ensuring seamless deployment, extensibility, and integration with enterprise DevOps workflows. This invention addresses key challenges in modern system observability, such as alert fatigue, manual root cause analysis, and reactive incident response, by introducing a novel fusion of telemetry analytics with Al-powered insight generation-thereby significantly reducing downtime, improving operational efficiency, and supporting intelligent decision-making in dynamic software environments."
