According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "AI-Based Mental Health Monitoring System Using Transformer Classifiers and CBT-Driven Chatbot Interventions A computer-implemented system and method for mental health monitoring and intervention using a transformer-based sentiment classifier and a CBT-guided chatbot. The system receives textual input from users, classifies emotional states using a fine-tuned transformer model selected from BERT, and XLNet, and generates therapeutic responses based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Behavioural Activation (BA) principles. A recommendation engine suggests behavioural actions tailored to the classified emotional state. A feedback loop tracks user interactions over time, dynamically adjusting recommendations and updating mental health metrics including stress level, volatility index, and emotional trends. A dashboard interface visualizes these metrics to support self-awareness and institutional oversight. The system is optimized for deployment in educational environments and supports subscription-based access for students."
