According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Systems, devices, and methods for determining or adjusting an imaging mode for use in inspecting tissue or foreign objects during an endoscopy procedure are disclosed. An exemplary endoscope system includes an endoscope and a controller circuit. The endoscope includes an imaging system to obtain images or video streams of a target anatomy during an endoscopy procedure. The controller circuit can generate from the obtained images or video streams endoscopic image or video features characterizing an anomaly in the target anatomy, and determine a personalized, pathology-specific imaging mode to enhance discernability of the anomaly from the images or video streams. The recommended imaging mode may be determined using a trained machine learning model. The recommended imaging mode may be provided to a user or a process to facilitate manual or automatic endoscopic imaging mode adjustment during the endoscopy procedure."

The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 11, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/046168.
