MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641025131 A) filed by Bala Bhoomeshwar, Hyderabad, Telangana, on March 3, for 'ai based cyberbullying alert and action system for social media.'
Inventor(s) include Animalla Vinay Kumar; Anitha Yajjala; Muntha Raju; Baipotu Devi Prasad; Enti Vineeth Reddy; Kumbham Sai Keerthan; and Bala Bhoomeshwar.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an AI Based Cyberbullying Alert and Action System for social media configured for real-time detection and automated moderation of harmful digital content. The system comprises a processor and memory executing a content-aware text normalization module, a multi-category parallel detection engine, a multi-dimensional severity scoring module, a probabilistic confidence updating module, and a timer-based state machine for deterministic moderation enforcement. The detection engine utilizes structured lexical pattern matching and deterministic state transitions to identify predefined harmful categories. A weighted severity score is computed and dynamically calibrated using probabilistic inference to reduce misclassification. Based on severity classification and confidence thresholds, the timer-based state machine automatically executes corrective actions including content blurring, deletion, flagging, or alert generation within a predefined temporal limit. The invention ensures comput."
