MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521133179 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 29, 2025, for 'ai-assisted drafting training and evaluation device.'

Inventor(s) include Arigela Pavan Arjun Satyanarayana; Pammi Hemanth Kumar; Simrin Fathima Syed; Dr. Madhu Shukla; Vipul Ladva; Akshay Ranpariya; and Neel Dholakia.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An AI-assisted drafting training and evaluation device, comprises of a platform 101 mounted over a support frame 102 provides a stable drafting surface to a student, an AI-enabled camera 103 authenticates the student and analyses body posture, hand movements, facial expressions and drafting/drawing tool usage patterns during manual drafting and drawing activities, an AR holographic projection unit 104 projects scale-accurate visual overlays and step-by-step drafting guidance directly onto a drafting surface, a SCARA 105 with a gripper 106 assists the student during drafting by holding student's hand or drafting/drawing tool, a sensing unit monitors drafting behaviour, material type, ergonomics, and student's fatigue, an audio input and output unit 107 captures voice commands and deliver audio-based instructions, a cloud-connected IoT communication module interconnects multiple platform, store drafting data on a blockchain-secured cloud for real-time monitoring and collaboration between students and instructors."
